Charioteer, holding reins in his right hand and kentron in his left, driving slow quadriga to right; in background, column with Ionic capital set on plinth of two steps. Rev. CΕΛΑΣ Forepart of man-headed bull right. HGC 2, 339. Jenkins, Gela, 230 (O61/R122). SNG ANS 50. Nicely toned and with an attractive reverse. Light scratches and with minor fault flan on the reverse, otherwise, very fine.
